- 18എനിക്കു ഒരു ദിവസത്തേക്കു ഒരു കാളയെയും വിശേഷമായ ആറു ആടിനെയും പാകം ചെയ്യും; പക്ഷികളെയും പാകം ചെയ്യും. പത്തു ദിവസത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ സകലവിധ വീഞ്ഞും ധാരാളം കൊണ്ടുവരും; ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെയും വേണ്ടിയിരുന്നിട്ടും ഈ ജനം പെടുന്ന പാടു കഠിനമായിരുന്നതിനാൽ ദേശാധിപതിക്കുള്ള അഹോവൃത്തി ഞാൻ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടില്ല.
- 19എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി ചെയ്തതൊക്കെയും എനിക്കു നന്മെക്കായിട്ടു ഓർക്കേണമേ.
