യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അവകാശം കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ യാതൊരു ഗോത്രത്തിലും അവകാശം ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഏതുകന്യകയും തന്റെ പിതൃഗോത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു കുടുംബത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഭാര്യയാകേണം.

Yisraayelmakkal ororuttan taantaante pitaakkanmaarute avakaasham kaivashamaakkentatinnu yisraayelmakkalute yaatoru gotrattilum avakaasham labhikkunna etukanyakayum tante pitrugotrattile oru kutumbattil oruttannu bhaaryayaakenam.

10യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ശെലോഫഹാദിന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ ചെയ്തു.
