വെട്ടുക്കിളിയുടെ രൂപം യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു ചമയിച്ച കുതിരെക്കു സമം; തലയിൽ പൊൻകിരീടം ഉള്ളതുപോലെയും മുഖം മാനുഷമുഖംപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു.

King James Version (KJV): And the shapes of the locusts [were] like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads [were] as it were crowns like gold, and their faces [were] as the faces of men.
World English Bible (WEB): The shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for war. On their heads were something like golden crowns, and their faces were like people’s faces.

5അവരെ കൊല്ലുവാനല്ല, അഞ്ചുമാസം ദണ്ഡിപ്പിപ്പാനത്രേ അതിന്നു അധികാരം ലഭിച്ചതു; അവരുടെ വേദന, തേൾ മനുഷ്യനെ കുത്തുമ്പോൾ ഉള്ള വേദനപോലെ തന്നേ.
6ആ കാലത്തു മനുഷ്യർ മരണം അന്വേഷിക്കും; കാൺകയില്ലതാനും; മരിപ്പാൻ കൊതിക്കും; മരണം അവരെ വിട്ടു ഓടിപ്പോകും.

8സ്ത്രീകളുടെ മുടിപോലെ അതിന്നു മുടി ഉണ്ടു; പല്ലു സിംഹത്തിന്റെ പല്ലുപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.
9ഇരിമ്പുകവചംപോലെ കവചം ഉണ്ടു; ചിറകിന്റെ ഒച്ച പടെക്കു ഓടുന്ന അനേകം കുതിരത്തേരുകളുടെ ഒച്ചപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.
