- 18ఆ ముగ్గురును ఫిలిష్తీయుల దండులోనికి చొరబడి పోయి బేత్లెహేము ఊరి గవినియొద్ది బావినీళ్లు చేదుకొని దావీదునొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చిరి. అయితే దావీదు ఆ నీళ్లు త్రాగుటకు మనస్సులేక యెహోవాకు అర్పితముగా వాటిని పారబోసి
- 19నేను ఈలాగు చేయకుండ నా దేవుడు నన్ను కాచునుగాక; ప్రాణమునకు తెగించి యీ నీళ్లు తెచ్చిన యీ మనుష్యుల రక్తమును నేను త్రాగుదునా అని చెప్పి త్రాగకపోయెను; ఈ ముగ్గురు పరా క్రమశాలులు ఇట్టి పనులు చేసిరి.
