3. 3ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలందరును హెబ్రోనులోనున్న రాజు నొద్దకు రాగా దావీదు హెబ్రోనులో యెహోవా సన్నిధిని వారితో నిబంధనచేసెను; అప్పుడు వారు సమూ యేలుద్వారా యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన ప్రకారము దావీదును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీద రాజుగా అభిషేకము చేసిరి.
4. 4తరువాత దావీదును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును యెరూషలే మనబడిన యెబూసునకు పోయిరి; ఆ దేశవాసులైన యెబూసీయులు అచ్చట ఉండిరి.
5. 5అప్పుడునీవు వీనియందు ప్రవేశింపకూడదని యెబూసు కాపురస్థులు దావీదుతో అనగా దావీదు దావీదు పట్టణమనబడిన సీయోను కోటను పట్టుకొనెను.
