హెబ్రోనీయులను గూర్చి నది. హెబ్రోనీయుల పితరుల యింటి పెద్దలందరికి యెరీయా పెద్దయాయెను. దావీదు ఏలుబడిలో నలువదియవ సంవత్సరమున వారి సంగతి విచారింపగా వారిలో గిలాదు దేశములోని యాజేరునందున్న వారు పరాక్రమ శాలులుగా కనబడిరి.

King James Version (KJV): Among the Hebronites [was] Jerijah the chief, [even] among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
