యుద్ధమందు దేవుని సహాయము వారికి కలుగుటచేత శత్రువులు అనేకులు పడిపోయిరి; తాము చెరతీసికొని పోబడు వరకు రూబేనీయులును గాదీయులును మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రమువారును వీరి స్థానములయందు కాపురముండిరి.
Yuddhamandu devuni sahaayamu vaariki kalugutacheta shatruvulu anekulu padipoyiri; taamu cherateesikoni pobadu varaku roobeneeyulunu gaadeeyulunu manashshe ardhagotramuvaarunu veeri sthaanamulayandu kaapuramundiri.

- 23మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రమువారును ఆ దేశమందు కాపుర ముండి వర్ధిల్లుచు, బాషాను మొదలుకొని బయల్హెర్మోను వరకును శెనీరువరకును హెర్మోను పర్వతము వరకును వ్యాపించిరి.
- 24వారి పితరుల యిండ్లకు పెద్దలైనవారెవరనగా ఏఫెరు ఇషీ ఎలీయేలు అజ్రీయేలు యిర్మీయా హోదవ్యా యహదీయేలు; వీరు కీర్తిపొందిన పరాక్రమశాలులై తమ పితరుల యిండ్లకు పెద్దలైరి.
