యెజెబెలు యెహోవా ప్రవక్తలను హతము చేయుచుండగా నేను చేసినది నా యేలినవాడవైన నీకు వినబడినది కాదా? నేను యెహోవా ప్రక్తలలో నూరు మందిని గుహకు ఏబదేసి మందిచొప్పున దాచి, అన్న పానములిచ్చి వారిని పోషించితిని.
Yejebelu yehovaa pravaktalanu hatamu cheyuchundagaa nenu chesinadi naa yelinavaadavaina neeku vinabadinadi kaadaa? Nenu yehovaa praktalalo nooru mandini guhaku ebadesi mandichoppuna daachi, anna paanamulichchi vaarini poshinchitini.

- 15ఇప్పుడు అహాబు నన్ను చంపునట్లుగానీ యేలినవాని దగ్గరకు పోయి, ఏలీయా యిచ్చట ఉన్నాడని చెప్పుమని నీవు నాకు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నావే అని మనవిచేయగా
- 16ఏలీయాఎవని సన్నిధిని నేను నిలువబడియున్నానో, ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడైన ఆ యెహోవా జీవముతోడు నిజముగా ఈ దినమున నేను అహాబును దర్శించుదునని చెప్పుచున్నాననెను. అంతట ఓబద్యా అహాబును ఎదుర్కొనబోయి ఆ వర్త మానమును తెలియజేయగా ఏలీయాను కలిసికొనుటకై అహాబు బయలుదేరెను.
