అయితే సౌలు కుమార్తెయైన మేరబును దావీదునకు ఇయ్య వలసి యుండగా సౌలు ఆమెను మెహోలతీయుడైన అద్రీయేలుకిచ్చి పెండ్లి చేసెను.

- 21ఆమె అతనికి ఉరిగానుండునట్లును ఫిలిష్తీయుల చెయ్యి అతనిమీద నుండునట్లును నేను ఆమెను అతనికి ఇత్తుననుకొనిఇప్పుడు నీవు మరి యొకదానిచేత నాకు అల్లుడవగుదువని దావీదుతో చెప్పి
