అయితే నేను బ్రదికియుండినయెడల నేను చావకుండ యెహోవా దయచూపునట్లుగా నీవు నాకు దయచూపక పోయిన యెడలనేమి,

- 13అయితే నా తండ్రి నీకు కీడుచేయ నుద్దేశించుచున్నాడని నేను తెలిసికొనినయెడల దాని నీకు తెలియజేసి నీవు క్షేమముగా వెళ్లునట్లు నిన్ను పంపివేయనియెడల యెహోవా నాకు గొప్ప అపాయము కలుగజేయుగాక. యెహోవా నా తండ్రికి తోడుగా ఉండినట్లు నీకును తోడుగా ఉండునుగాక.
- 14అయితే నేను బ్రదికియుండినయెడల నేను చావకుండ యెహోవా దయచూపునట్లుగా నీవు నాకు దయచూపక పోయిన యెడలనేమి,
- 15నేను చనిపోయినయెడల యెహోవా దావీదు శత్రువులను ఒకడైన భూమిమీద నిలువకుండ నిర్మూలము చేసిన తరువాత నీవు నా సంతతివారికి దయ చూపక పోయిన యెడలనేమి యెహోవా నిన్ను విసర్జించును గాక.
- 16ఈలాగున యెహోవా దావీదుయొక్క శత్రువుల చేత దాని విచారించునట్లుగా యోనాతాను దావీదు సంతతివారిని బట్టి నిబంధన చేసెను.
