2. 35ఉదయమున యోనాతాను దావీదుతో నిర్ణయముచేసి కొనిన వేళకు ఒక పనివాని పిలుచుకొని పొలములోనికి పోయెను.
3. 36నీవు పరుగెత్తికొనిపోయి నేను వేయు బాణ ములను వెదకుమని ఆ పనివానితో అతడు చెప్పగా వాడు పరుగెత్తుచున్నప్పుడు అతడు ఒక బాణము వాని అవతలకు వేసెను.
4. 37అయితే వాడు యోనాతాను వేసిన బాణము ఉన్నచోటునకు వచ్చి నప్పుడు యోనాతాను వాని వెనుకనుండి కేక వేసి - బాణము నీ అవతలనున్నదని చెప్పి
5. 38వాని వెనుక నుండి కేకవేసినీవు ఆలస్యము చేయక దబ్బున రమ్మనెను; యోనాతాను పనివాడు బాణములను కూర్చుకొని తన యజమానునియొద్దకు వాటిని తీసికొని వచ్చెను గాని
