King James Version (KJV): For in very deed, [as] the LORD God of Israel liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
World English Bible (WEB): For indeed, as the LORD the God of Israel lives, who has withheld me from harming you, unless you had hurried and come to meet me, surely there wouldn’t have been left to Nabal by the morning light so much as one who urinates on a wall.”

35తనయొద్దకు ఆమె తెచ్చిన వాటిని ఆమెచేత తీసికొనినీ మాటలు నేను ఆలకించి నీ మనవి నంగీకరించితిని, సమాధానముగా నీ యింటికి పొమ్మని ఆమెతో చెప్పెను.
36అబీగయీలు తిరిగి నాబాలునొద్దకు రాగా, రాజులు విందుచేసినట్లు అతడు ఇంటిలో విందుచేసి, త్రాగుచు బహు సంతోషించుచు మత్తుగానుండెను గనుక తెల్లవారువరకు ఆమె అతనితో కొద్ది గొప్ప మరేమియు చెప్పక ఊరకుండెను.
