7లేవీయులందరు తమ తమ ఆయుధములను చేతపట్టుకొని రాజుచుట్టును ఉండవలెను, మందిరము లోపలికి మరి ఎవరైనను వచ్చినయెడల ఆ వచ్చినవారికి మరణశిక్ష విధించుడి; రాజు లోపలికి వచ్చినప్పుడేమి బయటికి వెళ్లు నప్పుడేమి మీరు అతనితోకూడ ఉండవలెను.
8కాబట్టి లేవీయులును యూదావారందరును యాజకుడైన యెహో యాదా ఆజ్ఞ యంతటి ప్రకారము చేసిరి; యాజకుడైన యెహోయాదా వంతులవారికి సెలవియ్యలేదు గనుక ప్రతి వాడు విశ్రాంతిదినమున బయటికి వెళ్ల వలసిన తనవారిని ఆ దినమున లోపలికి రావలసిన తనవారిని తీసికొనివచ్చెను.
9మరియు యాజకుడైన యెహోయాదా దేవుని మందిర మందు రాజైన దావీదు ఉంచిన బల్లెములను కేడెములను డాళ్లను శతాధిపతులకు అప్పగించెను.
10అతడు ఆయుధము చేత పట్టుకొనిన జనులందరిని మందిరపు కుడివైపునుండి యెడమవైపువరకు బలిపీఠము ప్రక్కను మందిరముప్రక్కను రాజుచుట్టును ఉంచెను.
11అప్పుడు వారు రాజకుమారుని బయటికి తోడుకొని వచ్చి, అతనిమీద కిరీటముంచి, ధర్మ శాస్త్ర గ్రంథమును అతని చేతికిచ్చి అతనికి పట్టాభిషేకము చేసిరి; యెహోయాదాయును అతని కుమారులును అతనిని అభిషేకించిరాజు చిరంజీవియగునుగాక యనిరి.
