1తరువాత సొలొమోను యెరూషలేములో తన తండ్రి యైన దావీదునకు యెహోవా ప్రత్యక్షమైనప్పుడు మోరీయా పర్వతమందు దావీదు సిద్ధపరచిన స్థలమున యెబూసీయుడైన ఒర్నాను కళ్లమందు దావీదు ఏర్పరచిన స్థలమున యెహోవాకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టనారం భించెను.

3దేవుని మందిరమునకు సొలొమోను పునాదులు ఏర్పరచెను, పూర్వపు కొలల ప్రకారము పొడవు అరువది మూరలు, వెడల్పు ఇరువది మూరలు.
4మందిరపు ముఖమంటపము మందిరపు పొడుగునుబట్టి యిరువది మూరలు వెడల్పు, నూట ఇరువది మూరలు ఎత్తు, దాని లోపలిభాగమును ప్రసశ్తమైన బంగారముతో అతడు పొదిగించెను.
