In all [things] ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

3. 11మీరు దేవుని చిత్త ప్రకారము పొందిన యీ దుఃఖము ఎట్టి జాగ్రతను ఎట్టిదోష నివారణకైన ప్రతివాదమును ఎట్టి ఆగ్రహ మును ఎట్టి భయమును ఎట్టి అభిలాషను ఎట్టి ఆసక్తిని ఎట్టి ప్రతిదండనను మీలో పుట్టించెనో చూడుడి. ఆ కార్యమునుగూర్చి సమస్త విషయములలోను మీరు నిర్దోషులై యున్నారని ఋజువు పరచుకొంటిరి.
4. 12నేను మీకు వ్రాసినను ఆ దుష్కార్యము చేసినవాని నిమిత్తము వ్రాయలేదు; వానివలన అన్యాయము పొందిన వాని నిమిత్తమైనను వ్రాయలేదు; మాయెడల మీ కున్న ఆసక్తి దేవునియెదుట మీ మధ్య బాహాటమగుటకే వ్రాసితిని.
5. 13ఇందుచేత మేము ఆదరింపబడితివిు. అంతే కాదు, మాకు ఈ ఆదరణ కలిగినప్పుడు తీతుయొక్క ఆత్మ మీ అందరివలన విశ్రాంతిపొందినందున అతని సంతోషమును చూచి మరి యెక్కువగా మేము సంతోషించితివిు.
