2. 14అంతట ఎలీషా మరణకరమైన రోగముచేత పీడితుడై యుండగా ఇశ్రాయేలురాజైన యెహోయాషు అతని యొద్దకు వచ్చి అతని చూచి కన్నీరు విడుచుచునా తండ్రీ నా తండ్రీ, ఇశ్రాయేలువారికి రథమును రౌతులును నీవే అని యేడ్చెను.
3. 15అందుకు ఎలీషానీవు వింటిని బాణములను తీసికొమ్మని అతనితో చెప్పగా అతడు వింటిని బాణములను తీసికొనెను.
4. 16నీ చెయ్యి వింటిమీద ఉంచు మని అతడు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుతో చెప్పగా అతడు తన చెయ్యి వింటిమీద ఉంచినప్పుడు ఎలీషా తన చేతులను రాజు చేతులమీద వేసి
5. 17తూర్పువైపున నున్న కిటికీని విప్పుమని చెప్పగా అతడు విప్పెను. అప్పుడు ఎలీషా బాణము వేయుమని చెప్పగా అతడు బాణము వేసెను అతడుఇది యెహోవా రక్షణ బాణము, సిరియనుల చేతిలోనుండి మిమ్మును రక్షించు బాణము; సిరియనులు నాశనమగునట్లు నీవు అఫెకులో వారిని హతముచేయుదువని చెప్పి,
