అంతట ఎలీషా మరణకరమైన రోగముచేత పీడితుడై యుండగా ఇశ్రాయేలురాజైన యెహోయాషు అతని యొద్దకు వచ్చి అతని చూచి కన్నీరు విడుచుచునా తండ్రీ నా తండ్రీ, ఇశ్రాయేలువారికి రథమును రౌతులును నీవే అని యేడ్చెను.
