మెనహేము రాగా తిప్సహు పట్టణపు వారు తమ గుమ్మములు తీయలేదు గనుక అతడు వారినంద రిని హతము చేసి, తిర్సాను దాని చేరువ గ్రామములనన్నిటిని కొల్లపెట్టి అచ్చట గర్భిణులందరి గర్భములను చింపెను.

- Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that [were] therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not [to him], therefore he smote [it; and] all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.

- 18ఇతడును తన దినములన్నియు ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడగు నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము చేసిన పాపములను విడువక యనుసరించుచు యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించెను.
