యూదారాజైన అజర్యా యేలుబడిలో ముప్పదితొమ్మి దవ సంవత్సరమందు గాదీ కుమారుడైన మెనహేము ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని ఏలనారంభించి షోమ్రోనులో పది సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను.

- 19అష్షూరు రాజైన పూలు దేశముమీదికి రాగా, మెనహేము తనకు రాజ్యము స్థిరపరచునట్లుగా పూలుచేత సంధి చేయించుకొనవలెనని రెండు వేల మణుగుల వెండి పూలునకు ఇచ్చెను.
