1. 19అష్షూరు రాజైన పూలు దేశముమీదికి రాగా, మెనహేము తనకు రాజ్యము స్థిరపరచునట్లుగా పూలుచేత సంధి చేయించుకొనవలెనని రెండు వేల మణుగుల వెండి పూలునకు ఇచ్చెను.
2. 20మెనహేము ఇశ్రా యేలులో భాగ్యవంతులైన గొప్పవారిలో ప్రతి మనిషి యొద్దను ఏబదేసి తులముల వెండి వసూలుచేసి యీ ద్రవ్య మును అష్షూరు రాజునకిచ్చెను గనుక అష్షూరురాజు దేశ మును విడిచి వెళ్లిపోయెను.
3. 21మెనహేము చేసిన యితర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన దానినంతటిని గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడియున్నది.
4. 22మెనహేము తన పితరులతో కూడ నిద్రించిన తరువాత అతని కుమారుడైన పెకహ్యా అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.
5. 23యూదారాజైన అజర్యా యేలుబడిలో ఏబదియవ సంవత్సరమందు మెనహేము కుమారుడైన పెకహ్యా షోమ్రోనులో ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని ఏలనారంభించి రెండు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను.
