అజర్యా తన పితరు లతోకూడ నిద్రించి దావీదు పురములో తన పితరుల సమాధియందు పాతిపెట్టబడగా అతని కుమారుడైన యోతాము అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

- 9ఇతడు ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడగు నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము చేసిన పాపములను విడువక అనుసరించుచు, తన పితరులు చేసినట్లుగా తానును యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించెను.
