ఇతడు ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడగు నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము చేసిన పాపములను విడువక అనుసరించుచు, తన పితరులు చేసినట్లుగా తానును యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించెను.
