1. 13అతడునీవు ఇంత శ్రద్ధా భక్తులు మాయందు కనుపరచితివి నీకు నేనేమి చేయవలెను? రాజుతోనైనను సైన్యాధిపతితోనైనను నిన్నుగూర్చి నేను మాటలాడవలెనని కోరుచున్నావా అని అడుగుమని గేహజీకి ఆజ్ఞ ఇయ్యగా వాడు ఆ ప్రకారము ఆమెతో అనెను. అందుకామెనేను నా స్వజనులలో కాపుర మున్నాననెను.
2. 14ఎలీషాఆమె నేనేమి చేయకోరుచున్నదని వాని నడుగగా గేహజీఆమెకు కుమారుడు లేడు; మరియు ఆమె పెనిమిటి ముసలివాడని అతనితో చెప్పెను.
3. 15అందుకతడుఆమెను పిలువుమనగా వాడు ఆమెను పిలిచెను.
4. 16ఆమె వచ్చి ద్వారమందు నిలువగా ఎలీషామరుసటి యేట ఈ రుతువున నీ కౌగిట కుమారుడుండు నని ఆమెతో అనెను. ఆమె ఆ మాట వినిదైవజనుడవైన నా యేలినవాడా, ఆలాగు పలుకవద్దు; నీ దాసురాలనైన నాతో అబద్ధమాడవద్దనెను.
5. 17పిమ్మట ఆ స్త్రీ గర్భ వతియై మరుసటి యేట ఎలీషా తనతో చెప్పిన కాలమున కుమారుని కనెను.
