13అప్పుడు అతని సేవకులలో ఒకడు ఈలాగు మన విచేసెనుఇంతకుముందు ఇశ్రాయేలువారలలో బహు మంది మనుష్యులు లయమై పోయిరి గదా ఇక అయిదుగురు లయమై పోవుట అబ్బురమా? నీకు అనుకూలమైన యెడల పట్టణమందు మిగిలియున్న రౌతులలొ అయిదు గురిని తీసికొని పోనిమ్ము; మనము వారిని పంపి చూచెదమని చెప్పెను.
14వారు జోడు రథములను వాటి గుఱ్ఱములను తీసికొనగాసిరియనుల సైన్యమువెనుక పోయి చూచి రండని రాజు వారికి సెలవిచ్చి పంపెను.
15కాబట్టి వారు వారివెనుక యొర్దాను నదివరకు పోయి, సిరియనులు తొంద రగా పోవుచు, పోయినంత లెక్క పారవేసిన వస్త్రములను సామానులను చూచి, ఆ దూతలు తిరిగివచ్చి రాజుతో సంగతి తెలియజెప్పగా
16జనులు బయలుదేరి సిరియనుల దండుపేటను దోచుకొనిరి. కాబట్టి యెహోవా మాట చొప్పున రూపాయి ఒకటింటికి ఒక మానిక సన్నని పిండియు రెండు మానికల యవలును అమ్మబడెను.
