- 18ఇతడు అహాబు కుమార్తెను పెండ్లి చేసికొని యుండెను గనుక అహాబు కుటుంబికులవలెనే ఇతడును ఇశ్రాయేలురాజులు ప్రవర్తించినట్లు ప్రవర్తించుచు యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించెను.
- 19అయినను యెహోవా సదాకాలము తన సేవకుడగు దావీదునకును అతని కుమారులకును దీపము నిలిపెదనని మాట యిచ్చి యుండెను గనుక అతని జ్ఞాపకముచేత యూదాను నశింప జేయుటకు ఆయనకు మనస్సు లేకపోయెను.
