అందు నిమిత్తమై అబ్నేరు ఇరువదిమందిని వెంటబెట్టుకొని హెబ్రోనులోనున్న దావీదునొద్దకు రాగా దావీదు అబ్నేరుకును అతనివారికిని విందు చేయించెను.
Andu nimittamai abneru iruvadimandini ventabettukoni hebronulonunna daaveedunoddaku raagaa daaveedu abnerukunu atanivaarikini vindu cheyinchenu.

- 21అంతట అబ్నేరునేను పోయి ఇశ్రాయేలువారినందరిని నా యేలినవాడవగు నీ పక్షమున సమకూర్చి, వారు నీతో నిబంధనచేయునట్లును, నీ చిత్తానుసారముగా నీవు రాజరికము వహించి కోరినదాని అంతటిమీద ఏలునట్లును చేయుదునని దావీదుతో చెప్పి దావీదునొద్ద సెలవుపుచ్చుకొని సమాధానముగా వెళ్లిపోయెను.
- 22పిమ్మట దావీదు సేవకులును యోవాబును బందిపోటునుండి బహు విస్తారమైన దోపుడు సొమ్ము తీసికొనిరాగా అబ్నేరు హెబ్రోనులో దావీదునొద్ద లేకపోయెను, దావీదు అతనికి సెలవిచ్చియున్నందున అతడు సమాధానముగా వెళ్లిపోయి యుండెను.
