అయితే దేవుడు అతని సంతానము అన్యదేశమందు పరవాసు లగుదురనియు, ఆ దేశస్థులు నన్నూరు సంవత్సరముల మట్టుకు వారిని దాస్యమునకు లోపరుచుకొని బాధ పెట్టుదురనియు చెప్పెను

- 7మరియు దేవుడు ఏ జనము నకు వారు దాసులై యుందురో ఆ జనమును నేను విమర్శ చేయుదుననియు, ఆ తరువాత వారు వచ్చి ఈ చోటనన్ను సేవింతురనియు చెప్పెను.
- 8మరియు ఆయన సున్నతి విషయమైన నిబంధన అతని కనుగ్రహించెను. అతడు ఇస్సాకును కని ఆ నిబంధన చొప్పున ఎనిమిదవ దినమందు అత నికి సున్నతిచేసెను; ఇస్సాకు యాకోబును యాకోబు పన్నిద్దరు గోత్రకర్తలను కని వారికి సున్నతి చేసిరి.
