3. 18నెబుకద్నెజరు తన సముఖమునకు వారిని తేవలెనని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి నియమించిన దినములు కాగానే నపుంసకుల యధిపతి రాజు సముఖమున వారిని నిలువబెట్టెను.
4. 19రాజు వారితో మాటలాడగా వారందరిలో దానియేలు, హనన్యా, మిషాయేలు, అజర్యా వంటివారెవ రును కనబడలేదు గనుక వారే రాజు సముఖమున నిలిచిరి.
5. 20రాజు వీరియొద్ద విచారణ చేయగా జ్ఞానవివేకముల సంబంధ మైన ప్రతివిషయములో వీరు తన రాజ్యమందంతటనుండు శకునగాండ్రకంటెను గారడీవిద్య గలవారందరికంటెను పది యంతలు శ్రేష్ఠులని తెలియబడెను.
