2. 14దేవతల ఆత్మయు వివేకమును బుద్ధియు విశేష జ్ఞానమును నీయందున్నవని నిన్నుగూర్చి వింటిని.
3. 15ఈ వ్రాత చదివి దాని భావము తెలియజెప్పవలెనని జ్ఞానులను గారడీవిద్యగల వారిని పిలిపించితిని గాని వారు ఈ సంగతియొక్క భావమును తెలుపలేక పోయిరి.
4. 16అంతర్భావములను బయలుపరచుటకును కఠినమైన ప్రశ్నలకు ఉత్తరమిచ్చుటకును నీవు సమర్ధుడవని నిన్నుగూర్చి వినియున్నాను గనుక ఈ వ్రాతను చదువుటకును దాని భావమును తెలియజెప్పుటకును నీకు శక్యమైనయెడల నీవు ఊదారంగు వస్త్రము కట్టుకొని మెడను సువర్ణకంఠభూషణము ధరించుకొని రాజ్యములో మూడవ యధిపతివిగా ఏలుదువు.
5. 17అందుకు దానియేలు ఇట్లనెను నీ దానములు నీయొద్ద నుంచు కొనుము, నీ బహుమానములు మరి ఎవనికైన నిమ్ము; అయితే నేను ఈ వ్రాతను చదివి దాని భావమును రాజునకు తెలియ జెప్పెదను.
