ఈ మేకపోతు నేను నదిప్రక్కను నిలుచుట చూచిన రెండు కొమ్ములుగల పొట్టేలు సమీపమునకు వచ్చి, భయంకరమైన కోపము తోను బలముతోను దానిమీదికి డీకొని వచ్చెను.

- 7నేను చూడగా ఆమేకపోతు పొట్టేలును కలిసికొని, మిక్కిలి రౌద్రముగలదై దానిమీదికి వచ్చి ఆ పొట్టేలును గెలిచి దాని రెండు కొమ్ములను పగులగొట్టెను. ఆ పొట్టేలు దాని నెదిరింపలేక పోయినందున ఆ మేకపోతు దానిని నేలను పడవేసి త్రొక్కుచుండెను; దాని బలమును అణచి ఆ పొట్టేలును తప్పించుట ఎవరిచేతను కాకపోయెను.
- 8ఆ మేకపోతు అత్యధికముగా బలము చూపుచువచ్చెను; అది బహుగా పుష్టినొందగా దాని పెద్దకొమ్ము విరిగెను; విరిగిన దానికి బదులుగా నాలుగు ప్రసిద్ధమైన కొమ్ములు ఆకాశపు నలుదిక్కులకు నాలుగు పెరిగెను,
