2. 4ఆ పొట్టేలు కొమ్ముతో పశ్చిమముగాను ఉత్తరము గాను దక్షిణముగాను పొడుచుచుండుట చూచితిని. ఇట్లు జరుగగా దానిని ఎదిరించుటకైనను, అది పట్టకుండ తప్పించుకొనుటకైనను, ఏ జంతువునకును శక్తిలేకపోయెను; అది తనకిష్టమైనట్టుగా జరిగించుచు బలము చూపుచు వచ్చెను.
3. 5నేను ఈ సంగతి ఆలోచించుచుండగా ఒక మేకపోతు పడమటనుండి వచ్చి, కాళ్లు నేల మోపకుండ భూమియందంతట పరగులెత్తెను; దాని రెండు కన్నుల మధ్యనొక ప్రసిద్ధమైన కొమ్ముండెను.
4. 6ఈ మేకపోతు నేను నదిప్రక్కను నిలుచుట చూచిన రెండు కొమ్ములుగల పొట్టేలు సమీపమునకు వచ్చి, భయంకరమైన కోపము తోను బలముతోను దానిమీదికి డీకొని వచ్చెను.
5. 7నేను చూడగా ఆమేకపోతు పొట్టేలును కలిసికొని, మిక్కిలి రౌద్రముగలదై దానిమీదికి వచ్చి ఆ పొట్టేలును గెలిచి దాని రెండు కొమ్ములను పగులగొట్టెను. ఆ పొట్టేలు దాని నెదిరింపలేక పోయినందున ఆ మేకపోతు దానిని నేలను పడవేసి త్రొక్కుచుండెను; దాని బలమును అణచి ఆ పొట్టేలును తప్పించుట ఎవరిచేతను కాకపోయెను.
