అతడు నీతో చెప్పిన సూచక క్రియగాని మహత్కార్యముగాని సంభవించినను ఆ ప్రవక్తమాటలను కలలు కనువాని మాటలను వినకూడదు. ఏలయనగా మీరు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను మీ పూర్ణ హృదయము తోను మీ పూర్ణాత్మతోను ప్రేమించుచున్నారో లేదో తెలిసికొనుటకు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మిమ్మును పరీక్షించుచున్నాడు.

- 5నీవు నడవవలెనని నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకాజ్ఞాపించిన మార్గములోనుండి నిన్ను తొలగించునట్లు ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించి దాస్యగృహములోనుండి మిమ్మును విడిపించిన మీ దేవు డైన యెహోవామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేయుటకు మిమ్మును ప్రేరేపించెను గనుక ఆ ప్రవక్త కేమి ఆ కలలు కనువాని కేమి మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను. అట్లు నీ మధ్యనుండి ఆ చెడుతనమును పరిహరింపవలెను.
