నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చుచున్న దేశమందు నీ పురములలో ఎక్కడనైనను నీ సహోదరులలో ఒక బీద వాడు ఉండినయెడల బీదవాడైన నీ సహోదరుని కరుణింప కుండ నీ హృదయమును కఠినపరచు కొనకూడదు.

King James Version (KJV): If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:

6ఏల యనగా నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీతో చెప్పియున్నట్లు నిన్ను ఆశీర్వదించును గనుక నీవు అనేక జనములకు అప్పిచ్చెదవుగాని అప్పుచేయవు; అనేక జనములను ఏలు దువు గాని వారు నిన్ను ఏలరు.
7నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చుచున్న దేశమందు నీ పురములలో ఎక్కడనైనను నీ సహోదరులలో ఒక బీద వాడు ఉండినయెడల బీదవాడైన నీ సహోదరుని కరుణింప కుండ నీ హృదయమును కఠినపరచు కొనకూడదు.
8నీ చెయ్యి ముడుచుకొనక వానికొరకు అవశ్యముగా చెయ్యి చాచి, వాని అక్కరచొప్పున ఆ యక్కరకు చాలినంత అవశ్యముగా వానికి అప్పియ్యవలెను.
9విడుదల సంవత్సర మైన యేడవసంవత్సరము సమీపమైనదని చెడ్డతలంపు నీ మనస్సులో పుట్టక యుండునట్లు జాగ్రత్తపడుము. బీద వాడైన నీ సహోదరునియెడల కటాక్షము చూపక నీవు వానికేమియు ఇయ్యక పోయినయెడల వాడొకవేళ నిన్ను గూర్చి యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టును; అది నీకు పాప మగును.
