King James Version (KJV): So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;

23వారు, యెహోవా తన కోపోద్రేకముచేత నశింపజేసిన సొదొమ గొమొఱ్ఱా అద్మా సెబోయీములవలె ఆ సమస్త దేశమును గంధకము చేతను ఉప్పుచేతను చెడిపోయి, విత్తబడకయు దానిలో ఏదియు బుట్టకయు దానిలో ఏ కూరయు మొలవకయు ఉండుట చూచి
24యెహోవా దేని బట్టి యీ దేశమును ఇట్లు చేసెనో? యీ మహా కోపాగ్నికి హేతువేమో? అని చెప్పుకొందురు.
