ఆ కాలమున అర్నోను ఏరు మొదలుకొని హెర్మోను కొండవరకు యొర్దాను అవతలనున్న దేశమును అమోరీయుల యిద్దరు రాజులయొద్దనుండి పట్టుకొంటిమి.

- Numbers 32:33–42 సంఖ్యాకాండము 32:33–42అప్పుడు మోషే వారికి, అనగా గాదీయులకును రూబే నీయులకును యోసేపు కుమారుడైన మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రపు వారికిని, అమోరీయుల రాజైన సీహోను రాజ్యమును, బాషాను రాజైన ఓగు రాజ్యమును, దాని ప్రాంతపురములతో ఆ దేశమును చట్టునుండు ఆ దేశపురములను ఇచ్చెను. గాదీయులు దీబోను అతారోతు అరోయేరు అత్రోతు షోపాను యాజెరు యొగ్బెహ బేత్నిమ్రా బేత్హారాను అను ప్రాకారములుగల పురములను మందల దొడ్లను కట్టు కొనిరి. రూబేనీయులు మారుపేరుపొందిన హెష్బోను ఏలాలే కిర్యతాయిము నెబో బయల్మెయోను షిబ్మా అను పురములను కట్టి, తాము కట్టిన ఆ పురములకు వేరు పేరులు పెట్టిరి. మనష్షే కుమారులైన మాకీరీయులు గిలాదుమీదికి పోయి దాని పట్టుకొని దానిలోనున్న అమోరీయులను వెళ్లగొట్టిరి. మోషే మనష్షే కుమారు డైన మాకీరుకు గిలాదునిచ్చెను అతడు అక్కడ నివ సించెను. మనష్షే కుమారుడైన యాయీరు వెళ్లి వారి పల్లెలను పట్టుకొని వాటికి యాయీరు పల్లెలను పేరు పెట్టెను. నోబహు వెళ్లి కెనాతును దాని గ్రామము లను పట్టుకొని దానికి నోబహు అని తన పేరు పెట్టెను.
