కాబట్టి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తానే దేవుడనియు, తన్ను ప్రేమించి తన ఆజ్ఞల ననుసరించి నడుచుకొనువారికి తన నిబంధనను స్థిరపరచువాడును వేయితరములవరకు కృపచూపువాడును నమ్మతగిన దేవుడు ననియు, తన్ను ద్వేషించువారిలో ప్రతివానిని బహిరంగ ముగా నశింపచేయుటకు వానికి దండన విధించువాడనియు నీవు తెలిసికొనవలెను.

8అయితే యెహోవా మిమ్మును ప్రేమించు వాడు గనుకను, తాను మీ తండ్రులకు చేసిన ప్రమాణమును నెరవేర్చువాడు గనుకను, యెహోవా బాహుబలముచేత మిమ్మును రప్పించి దాసుల గృహములో నుండియు ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరో చేతిలోనుండియు మిమ్మును విడిపించెను.

11కాబట్టి నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ధర్మము, అనగా విధులను కట్టడలను మీరనుసరించి నడుచు కొనవలెను.
