39వారు ఐగుప్తులో నుండి తెచ్చిన పిండి ముద్దతో పొంగని రొట్టెలుచేసి కాల్చిరి. వారు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టబడి తడవుచేయ లేకపోయిరి గనుక అది పులిసి యుండలేదు, వారు తమ కొరకు వేరొక ఆహారమును సిద్ధపరచుకొని యుండలేదు.
40ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఐగుప్తులో నివసించిన కాలము నాలుగు వందల ముప్పది సంవత్సరములు.
