ఏడవ నెల మొదటి దినమునుండి యెహోవాకు దహనబలులు అర్పింప మొదలుపెట్టిరి. అయితే యెహోవా మందిరము యొక్క పునాది అప్పటికి ఇంకను వేయబడలేదు.

- 7మరియు వారు కాసెవారికిని వడ్రవారికిని ద్రవ్యము నిచ్చిరి. అదియుగాక పారసీక దేశపు రాజైన కోరెషు తమకు సెలవిచ్చినట్లు దేవదారు మ్రానులను లెబానోనునుండి సముద్రముమీద యొప్పేపట్టణమునకు తెప్పించుటకు సీదోనీయులకును తూరువారికిని భోజనపదార్థములను పానమును నూనెను ఇచ్చిరి.
- 8యెరూషలేములోనుండు దేవునియొక్క మందిరమునకు వారు వచ్చిన రెండవ సంవత్సరము రెండవ నెలలో షయల్తీ యేలు కుమారుడైన జెరుబ్బాబెలును, యోజాదాకు కుమారు డైన యేషూవయును, చెరలోనుండి విడిపింపబడి యెరూష లేమునకు వచ్చినవారందరును పని ఆరంభించి, యిరువది సంవత్సరములు మొదలుకొని పై యీడుగల లేవీయులను యెహోవా మందిరముయొక్క పనికి నిర్ణయించిరి.
