4మరియు గ్రంథమునుబట్టి వారు పర్ణశాలల పండుగను నడిపించి, ఏ దినమునకు నియ మింపబడిన లెక్కచొప్పున ఆ దినపు దహనబలిని విధి చొప్పున అర్పింపసాగిరి.
5తరువాత నిత్యమైన దహనబలిని, అమావాస్యలకును యెహోవాయొక్క నియామకమైన పండుగలకును ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన దహనబలులను, ఒక్కొక్కడు తెచ్చిన స్వేచ్ఛార్పణలను అర్పించుచు వచ్చిరి.
6ఏడవ నెల మొదటి దినమునుండి యెహోవాకు దహనబలులు అర్పింప మొదలుపెట్టిరి. అయితే యెహోవా మందిరము యొక్క పునాది అప్పటికి ఇంకను వేయబడలేదు.
