అప్పుడు ఏశావు - నీ కిష్టమైన యెడల నాయొద్దనున్న యీ జనులలో కొందరిని నీ యొద్ద విడిచిపెట్టుదునని చెప్పగా అతడు అదియేల? నా ప్రభువు కటాక్షము నామీద నుండనిమ్మనెను.
Appudu eshaavu - nee kishtamaina yedala naayoddanunna yee janulalo kondarini nee yodda vidichipettudunani cheppagaa atadu adiyela? Naa prabhuvu kataakshamu naameeda nundanimmanenu.

- 13అతడునాయొద్ద నున్న పిల్లలు పసిపిల్లలనియు, గొఱ్ఱెలు మేకలు పశువులు పాలిచ్చునవి అనియు నా ప్రభువుకు తెలియును. ఒక్కదినమే వాటిని వడిగా తోలినయెడల ఈ మంద అంతయు చచ్చును.
- 14నా ప్రభువు దయచేసి తన దాసునికి ముందుగా వెళ్లవలెను. నేను నా ప్రభువునొద్దకు శేయీరునకు వచ్చువరకు, నా ముందర నున్న మందలు నడువగలిగిన కొలదిని ఈ పిల్లలు నడువగలిగినకొలదిని వాటిని మెల్లగా నడిపించుకొని వచ్చెదనని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

- 16ఆ దినమున ఏశావు తన త్రోవను శేయీరునకు తిరిగిపోయెను.
- 17అప్పుడు యాకోబు సుక్కోతుకు ప్రయాణమై పోయి తనకొకయిల్లు కట్టించుకొని తన పశువులకు పాకలు వేయించెను. అందుచేత ఆ చోటికి సుక్కోతు అను పేరు పెట్టబడెను.
