3. 22ఎట్లనగా రూబేను అతని తండ్రికి అతని నప్పగించుటకై వారి చేతులలో పడకుండ అతని విడిపింప దలచిరక్తము చిందింపకుడి; అతనికి హాని ఏమియు చేయక అడవిలోనున్న యీ గుంటలో అతని పడద్రోయుడని వారితో చెప్పెను.
4. 23యోసేపు తన సహోదరుల యొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పుడు వారు యోసేపు అంగీని అతడు తొడుగుకొని యుండిన ఆ విచిత్రమైన నిలువుటంగీని తీసివేసి,
5. 24అతని పట్టుకొని ఆ గుంటలో పడద్రోసిరి. ఆ గుంట వట్టిది అందులో నీళ్లులేవు.
