యోసేపు తన సహోదరుల యొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పుడు వారు యోసేపు అంగీని అతడు తొడుగుకొని యుండిన ఆ విచిత్రమైన నిలువుటంగీని తీసివేసి,

- 24అతని పట్టుకొని ఆ గుంటలో పడద్రోసిరి. ఆ గుంట వట్టిది అందులో నీళ్లులేవు.
- 25వారు భోజనముచేయ కూర్చుండి, కన్నులెత్తి చూడగా ఐగుప్తునకు తీసికొని పోవుటకు గుగ్గిలము మస్తకియు బోళమును మోయుచున్న ఒంటెలతో ఇష్మాయేలీయులైన మార్గస్థులు గిలాదునుండి వచ్చుచుండిరి.
