1. 23అతడు తన తండ్రి నిమిత్తము ఐగుప్తులో నున్న మంచి వస్తువులను మోయుచున్న పది గాడిదలను, మార్గమునకు తన తండ్రి నిమిత్తము ఆహారమును, ఇతర ధాన్యమును తిను బండములను మోయుచున్న పది ఆడుగాడిదలను పంపెను.
2. 24అప్పుడతడు తన సహోదరులను సాగనంపి వారు బయలుదేరుచుండగా - మార్గమందు కలహపడకుడని వారితో చెప్పెను.
3. 25వారు ఐగుప్తునుండి బయలు దేరి కనాను దేశమునకు తన తండ్రియైన యాకోబు నొద్దకు వచ్చి
4. 26యోసేపు ఇంక బ్రదికియుండి ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటిని ఏలుచున్నాడని అతనికి తెలియచేసిరి. అయితే అతడు వారి మాట నమ్మలేదు గనుక అతడు నిశ్చేష్టుడాయెను.
5. 27అప్పుడు వారు యోసేపు తమతో చెప్పిన మాటలన్నిటిని అతనితో చెప్పిరి. అతడు తన్ను ఎక్కించుకొని పోవుటకు యోసేపు పంపిన బండ్లు చూచినప్పుడు వారి తండ్రియైన యాకోబు ప్రాణము తెప్పరిల్లెను.
