- 5నా తండ్రి నాచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించి - ఇదిగో నేను చనిపోవుచున్నాను, కనానులో నా నిమిత్తము సమాధి త్రవ్వించితిని గదా, అందులోనే నన్ను పాతిపెట్టవలెనని చెప్పెను. కాబట్టి సెలవైతే నేనక్కడికి వెళ్లి నా తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టి మరల వచ్చెదనని చెప్పుడనెను.
- 6అందుకు ఫరో అతడు నీచేత చేయించిన ప్రమాణము చొప్పున వెళ్లి నీ తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టుమని సెలవిచ్చెను.
- 7కాబట్టి యోసేపు తన తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టుటకు పోయెను; అతనితో ఫరో యింటి పెద్దలైన అతని సేవకులందరును ఐగుప్తు దేశపు పెద్దలందరును
- 8యోసేపు యింటివారందరును అతని సహోదరులును అతని తండ్రి ఇంటివారును వెళ్లిరి. వారు తమ పిల్లలను తమ గొఱ్ఱెల మందలను తమ పశువులను మాత్రము గోషెను దేశములో విడిచిపెట్టిరి.
- 9మరియు రథములును రౌతులును అతనితో వెళ్లినందున ఆ సమూహము బహు విస్తారమాయెను.
