పర్వతముల శిఖరములమీద బలులనర్పింతురు, కొండలమీద ధూపము వేయుదురు, సింధూరవృక్షముల క్రిందను చినారువృక్షముల క్రిందను మస్తకివృక్షముల క్రిందను నీడ మంచిదని అచటనే ధూపము వేయుదురు; అందువలననే మీ కుమార్తెలు వేశ్యలైరి, మీ కోడండ్లును వ్యభిచారిణులైరి.

Parvatamula shikharamulameeda balulanarpinturu, kondalameeda dhoopamu veyuduru, sindhooravrukshamula krindanu chinaaruvrukshamula krindanu mastakivrukshamula krindanu needa manchidani achatane dhoopamu veyuduru; anduvalanane mee kumaartelu veshyalairi, mee kodandlunu vyabhichaarinulairi.

King James Version (KJV): They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof [is] good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.

15ఇశ్రాయేలూ, నీవు వేశ్యవైతివి; అయినను యూదా ఆ పాపములో పాలుపొందక పోవునుగాక. గిల్గాలునకు పోవద్దు; బేతావెనునకు పోవద్దు; యెహోవా జీవముతోడని ప్రమాణముచేయవద్దు.
