హిజ్కియా దూతలు వచ్చిన మాట విని వారిని లోపలికి రప్పించి, తన యింటనేమి రాజ్యమందేమి కలిగిన సమస్తవస్తువులలో దేనిని మరుగు చేయక తన పదార్థములు గల కొట్టును వెండి బంగారములను గంధవర్గములను పరిమళ తైలమును ఆయుధశాలను తన పదార్థములలో నున్న సమస్తమును వారికి చూపించెను.

3పిమ్మట ప్రవక్తయైన యెషయా రాజైన హిజ్కియాయొద్దకు వచ్చి - ఆ మనుష్యులు ఏమనిరి? నీయొద్దకు ఎక్కడనుండి వచ్చిరి? అని యడుగగా హిజ్కియాబబులోనను దూరదేశమునుండి వారు వచ్చియున్నారని చెప్పెను.
4నీ యింట వారేమేమి చూచిరని అతడడుగగా హిజ్కియా - నా పదార్థములలో దేనిని మరుగుచేయక నా యింటనున్న సమస్తమును నేను వారికి చూపించియున్నాననెను.
