అతని దేశము ఆశ్చర్యముగా వృద్ధినొందుటను గూర్చి విచారించి తెలిసికొనుటకై బబులోను అధిపతులు అతనియొద్దకు పంపిన రాయబారుల విషయములో అతని శోధించి, అతని హృద యములోని ఉద్ధేశమంతయు తెలిసికొనవలెనని దేవుడతని విడచిపెట్టెను.

King James Version (KJV): Howbeit in [the business of] the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was [done] in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all [that was] in his heart.

32హిజ్కియా చేసిన యితర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చూపిన భక్తినిగూర్చియు, ప్రవక్త యును ఆమోజు కుమారుడునగు యెషయాకు కలిగిన దర్శనముల గ్రంథము నందును యూదా ఇశ్రాయేలుల రాజుల గ్రంథమునందును వ్రాయబడియున్నది.
33హిజ్కియా తన పితరులతో కూడ నిద్రించగా జనులు దావీదు సంతతివారి శ్మశానభూమి యందు కట్టబడిన పైస్థానమునందు అతని పాతిపెట్టిరి. అతడు మరణ మొందినప్పుడు యూదావారందరును యెరూషలేము కాపురస్థులందరును అతనికి ఉత్తర క్రియలను ఘనముగా జరిగించిరి. అతని కుమారుడైన మనష్షే అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.
