1. 6అనేక దినములైన తరువాత యెహోవా నీవు లేచి యూఫ్రటీసునొద్దకు పోయి, నేను అక్కడ దాచి పెట్టుమని నీకాజ్ఞాపించిన నడికట్టును అక్కడనుండి తీసి కొనుమని నాతో చెప్పగా
2. 7నేను యూఫ్రటీసునొద్దకు పోయి త్రవ్వి ఆ నడికట్టును దాచి పెట్టినచోటనుండి దాని తీసికొంటిని; నేను దానిని చూడగా ఆ నడికట్టు చెడిపోయి యుండెను; అది దేనికిని పనికిరానిదాయెను.
3. 8కాగా యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను
4. 9యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఈ విధముగానే యూదావారి గర్వమును యెరూషలేము నివాసుల మహా గర్వమును నేను భంగపరచుదును.
5. 10అన్యదేవతలను పూజించుచు వాటికి నమస్కారము చేయుదుమని వాటిననుసరించుచు, నా మాటలు విన నొల్లక తమ హృదయకాఠిన్యము చొప్పున నడుచుకొను ఈ ప్రజలు దేనికిని పనికిరాని యీ నడికట్టువలె అగు దురు.
