1. 28అతడు తన్ను తాను మీకు ప్రవక్తనుగా చేసికొనెనుగదా అదియుగాక దీర్ఘకాలము మీరు కాపురముందురు, నివసించుటకై యిండ్లు కట్టించుకొనుడి, ఫలములు తినుటకై తోటలు నాటుడి, అని బబులోనులో నున్న మాకు అతడు వర్తమానము పంపియున్నాడు,
2. 29అప్పుడు యాజకుడైన జెఫన్యా ప్రవక్త యైన యిర్మీయా వినుచుండగా ఆ పత్రికను చదివి వినిపించెను
3. 30అంతట యెహోవావాక్కు యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను
4. 31చెరలోనున్న వారికందరికి నీవు పంపవలసిన వర్తమానమేమనగా యెహోవా నెహెలామీయుడైన షెమయానుగూర్చి యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను అతని పంపకపోయినను షెమయా మీకు ప్రవచింపుచు అబద్ధపు మాటలను నమ్మునట్లు చేసెను గనుక యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.
5. 32నెహెలా మీయుడైన షెమయా యెహోవామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేయుదమని చాటించెను గనుక అతనిని అతని సంతానమును నేను శిక్షించుచున్నాను; ఈ జనులలో కాపురముండు వాడొకడును అతనికి మిగిలియుండడు, నా ప్రజలకు నేను చేయు మేలును అతడు చూడడు; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.
