1. 4అప్పటికి వారు యిర్మీయాను చెరసాలలో నుంచియుండ లేదు; అతడు ప్రజలమధ్య సంచరించుచుండెను.
2. 5ఫరో దండు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి బయలుదేరగా యెరూషలేమును ముట్టడివేయుచున్న కల్దీయులు సమాచారము విని యెరూషలేము దగ్గరనుండి బయలుదేరిరి.
3. 6అప్పుడు యెహోవా వాక్కు ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను
4. 7ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చునదేమనగా నా యొద్ద విచారించుడని నిన్ను నా యొద్దకు పంపిన యూదారాజుతో నీ వీలాగు చెప్పవలెనుమీకు సహాయము చేయుటకై బయలుదేరి వచ్చుచున్న ఫరోదండు తమ స్వదేశమైన ఐగుప్తులోనికి తిరిగి వెళ్లును.
5. 8కల్దీయులు తిరిగి వచ్చి యీ పట్టణముమీద యుద్ధముచేసి దాని పట్టుకొని అగ్ని చేత కాల్చి వేయుదురు.
